Hello, my friends,

I was wondering whether the underlined part can mean on weekdays and is idiomatic:

I don't have breakfast on the weekday.

Thoughts and context: I don't have breakfast on weekdays(from Monday to Friday.). I told my friends.

No. The weekend is a two-day period. A weekday is one day, not the five-day period that isn't the weekend. Say 'on weekdays'.

Certainly "on the weekday" is unidiomatic. "On a weekday" is possible if the context is right. "On weekdays" is generally best.
