I was wondering whether the underlined part can mean on weekdays and is idiomatic:

I don't have breakfast on the weekday.

Thoughts and context: I don't have breakfast on weekdays(from Monday to Friday.). I told my friends.

Presumably you mean "like the use of weekend". It's different because a weekend is not a day. It is a pair of days. See #2.
