One of Greece's main exports is...

Hi there.

In my teacher's book, there is the phrase "One of Greece's main exports is..." and Greece's is underlined as incorrect. Can you tell me why?

Do we have to add "the"? ( I 'm saying that because the grammar part of that lesson has to do with the article the)

Where are you considering adding "the"? You cannot add "the" to that phrase unless you reorder some of the words, e.g. "One of the main exports of Greece is..."

In any case, I don't see anything wrong with the original sentence or "Greece's."

    Ah, seeing the paper helps.

The error in the sentence is "the tobacco". It should be just "tobacco", without "the".

    Cross-posted.
