Hi all!!!

"In February 2003 the hotel closed its doors for a one year renovation and rebuilding which ended in March 2004."

Is it one-year renovation or one year renovation, without hyphen? If you see any other mistake in the sentence, feel free to make corrections! I'll be grateful!

    Hi K-F!

    I would hyphenate one-year.

    In February 2003, the hotel closed its doors for a one-year renovation and rebuilding programme, which ended in March 2004.

    Thank you both! Ummm so the hyphen is an issue! Hehe! Hey, I really like the word programme after that, thanks!
     
    It doesn't matter a great deal either way, but I would say "...for a one-year renovation and rebuilding project/programme" . Rebuilding is not a noun in this context so can't be used alone.
