Opposite of "paid"

< Previous | Next >

I understand the intended meaning of "paid" is "not free of charge" in the following words.
I'd like to know what is the antonym of "paid".

1. paid parking lots
2. paid subscribers

The word "free" comes to mind. Are the following idiomatic?

3. free parking lots
4. free subscribers

Thank you!

It partly depends on the context. 'Free' could work. In other contexts, maybe 'complimentary' or 'unpaid' or 'gratis'.
