or / nor

I translated the following sentence from Spanish to English:

Other series could not identify pneumonectomy as a predictor of survival in stage I [21,22] or in stage T2N1M0 [23].

I'm wondering if I should use "nor" instead of "or"...

  • "Or" is fine here. "Nor" is usually used with "neither", so you could say

    "Other series could identify pneumonectomy as a predictor of survival neither in stage I [21,22]nor in stage T2N1M0 [23]."

    But this is quite cumbersome. what you already have is fine.
