Hi,

Background:

When I was in a Malaysia resturant, I ordered my dinner.
I sit down in there. I ate the food in there after the food ready.

Question:
Do I use "order" and "make" correctly?
If not, any suggestions?

Sentence:
When I ordered the “fired chicken noodle”, I told a waiter that I didn't like salty food and asked him to talk to the chef to make it less salty.

My opinion:
I think both words are ok, but I would like to see other people's opinions. May be some better options

Thanks
