"Organize by" or "Organized by"

Which one is correct? Is it "organize by" or "organized by" though the event has not started yet.

    Please provide a more complete example of the text. My initial reaction is that "organize by" would be use in the context of "you should organize by alphabetical order."

    This is to indicate the organizer of the event. Whether to use -

    "The event is organize by John."
    or
    "The event is organized by John."

    Though it's not started yet.

    Please help. Thank you

    I would use "The event is organized by John.", since the verbo is in past, although the event still have not started. anyway lets hope someone native.
