How can I translate this expression into English?

"Water framework of the region"? it doesn't sound right to me.

I would say the "waterway infrastructure of the region."

Depending on context, it might be extended to "water utility infrastructure of the region," for example in a government document.

Sorry, i didn't give any context.
It refers to the river Tiber in the region Umbria, in Italy.

I think then, it would be the waterway infrastructure, especially if it involves man-made improvements. If you are talking about the natural structure of the river, you can literally say "river structure."
