outside of the festival

    I want to say that activities have been organised, other than the normal festival ones. Is it correct to say:

    The festival has brought to more than 100.000 spectators over 2000 films, 20 workshops and classes, outside of the festival.

    I would say "in addition to the festival," unless the point is that these are happening away from the festival grounds. We need more information about the festival and what it is, but perhaps you could say something like this:

    In addition to the festival itself
    , the festival [organization] has brought over 2000 films, 20 workshops and classes to more than 100.000 spectators.
