With "the" and without "the"

Which one is true ?

    "the owner" – it's a specific owner (of the Moop Company). As you can see, I would probably use "the" for the company, as well, but this is partly a matter of preference and partly because I don't know the company. IBM and Apple and many others don't require an article.
