What is a pajaro campana in English?
A bird bell. Very often fastened to a small mirror, which is placed in the cage.
Thanks for the replies, but I'm getting just the literal translation. I guess I should have been more explicit. There is a well-known Paraguayan piece of folk music called Pajaro Campana, arranged by Felix Perez Cardoso, a Paraguayan harpist (who died about 50 years ago). He wrote the music to simulate the song of the bird in the wild. I was trying to find the name of that bird in English. If anyone knows, it would be very appreciated.
Look at this:
"Did you know that you are one of the few towns that can still hear the song of the Pajaro Campana (the bellbird -- Paraguay's national bird that is revered in a popular song)? It used to be that song reached the outskirts of Asuncion. That's because you live next to a big forest that is one of the last homes for the Pajaro Campana in Paraguay."
Great. Thank you. That's just what I needed.
Separate names with a comma.
