Does anybody know the english translation for 'palinodico'?
The sentence is:
Tampoco hay ninguna indicacion de que Garcilaso pensara imponer un cierre palinodico.

Neither is there any indication that GL wanted to impose a shutting down of...?

Thankyou!

    I've just found this
A palinode or palinody is an ode in which the writer retracts a view or sentiment expressed in an earlier poem
and I'm assuming its the same meaning, but I still dont understand what a 'cierre palinodico' could mean?

Neither is there any indication that Garcilaso meant to [impose] a palinodic end/ending
