Hi guys, there's a thread about "pan de Dios", but it's just the definition in Spanish. It's a colloquial expression refering to someone who is a extremely good person, always willing to help. How can I say something similar in English? I need, ideally, a colloquial word or expression.

Thanks!

Does "angel" work ? He/she is an angel?
    Thanks
It communicates the same idea, yes. But without any context, 'salt of the earth' looks like the better option, although I don't hear it much. In my experience, it's more common to hear something like '...has heart of gold.' Also, 'he/she is an angel' might be used mostly in reference to children, maybe women. Again, context matters.
