Hi,

Please advise,
I have copied from a book the notion of "paraphrase activities". Is it standardly used? It seems a bit odd, maybe I would prefer "paraphrasing activities" more.

Thanks.

A.

Reading activities

a) Oral drills; b) Acting from a script (acting out a scripted conversation); c) Role play and simulation; d) Discussion on the topic; e) Problem-solving activities and task-based activities; f) Quizzes; g) Paraphrase activities (students explain words by using more simple English words); h) Presentations; i) Storytelling and re-telling a story; j) Communication games.
