Hi !
I'm new and I have to translate "The picture of Dorian Gray". (French-English), but there were some many things that bother me.
May you correct me please?

Ils partirent à la recherche d'un policier et l'emmenèrent avec eux.
They walked to search a policeman and brought him with them.

(I want to know if we use Look for or this ?)

    French - France
Or perhaps "they went in search of...?"

(It has nothing to do with it, really, but I think translating The Picture of Dorian Gray from French to English is absolutely absurd, since the book was written in English in the first place. If you want my opinion, the best translation of this sentence would be Oscar Wilde's own words...)
