pass power on tests (dive)

    I am not sure about the meaning of this sentence: Check cellls and batteries pass power on tests.

    It refers to the handset of a rebreather.

    Probably it means: Compruebe que las células y baterías están cargadas

    Does it make any sense?

    That sounds right, but I'm not sure why they say both cells and batteries.

    Probably the word "cells" refers to the oxygen cells.
