1 savoy, 2 or 3 carrots, 2 or 3 potatoes, 2 tomatoes, 1 big onion, salt and extra vergine olive oil, if you like.

I had always breakfast in a "normal way": milk (1/2 litre), coffee, biscuits and croissant with nutella

Never had it for breakfast... but you made me remember la pastina col formaggino! When pastina is ready with its soup, you put on the top, floating, a formaggino, a little creamy cheese (I preferred the square ones). It melts and tastes very, very good. Or at leats it did, some centuries ago! Walnut

Is there not something better (that is, more natural) than Nutella in Italy? I tried to find it while I was there but I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for. Although Nutella tastes good it has hydrogentated oils in it which I try to avoid. Locally, I buy something called Choconut which is all natural hazelnut/chocolate but it's not smooth (it has a grainy texture).

yes, we have different creams like nutella.
I do not eat too much Nutella (it's better to say that I like to lick the coffeespoon).

I'm addicted to milk and, as I told, to marrons glacès!!!
my grandma used to say that I didn't have blood in my veins but milk ...

As Alfry said, there are other chocolate spread creams, but no one like Nutella.

Mimi la parola che cercavi per "toast" è pan carré, o fette di pan carré (in italiano la parola corretta sarebbe fette di pane in cassetta, ma questa definizione è poco usata)

Uhm... sei sicura? Io ho sempre tradotto con "pane tostato"...
Le fettone di pane in cassetta che vendono nei supermercati inglesi non mi sembra si chiamino toast... Any English speaker who can help?
