O patrão deseja que eu mande para ele o serviço que ele me passou até depois de amanhã
The gaffer wishes I send him the service he passed me until the day after tomorrow

O patrão queria contar que ela deverá mandar para ele o serviço que ele queria passar para ela depois de amanhã
The gaffer wanted to tell she ought to send him the service he wanted to pass her the day after tomorrow

No, gaffer is not a very good translation of patrão in this sense.
In your examples, the appropriate translation of patrão is 'boss'. A gaffer is basically a foreman, typically on a building site or in a factory or warehouse. To be clear, it can be used to refer familiarly to the boss, but this is very colloquial. In fact the term gaffer in all its usages is pretty dated and is probably best avoided.
