People here like beer lukewarm.

I saw this sentence in a grammar book without a context. The usage of " like" here is not clear for me.
Like beer lukewarm= like beer to be or being lukewarm?

Thank you!

    English (UK then US)
For someone who likes ice-cold beer, any beer that is at cellar temperature (cool) will seem lukewarm. So an American might say your sentence, referring to people who like drinking (non-ice-cold) British beer:)
