People with distinct ethnics

Is the usage of "ethnic" correct in the following sentence?

"People with distinct ethnics"

    No it isn't at all correct. It sounds as if you are confusing this word 'ethnic' with the word 'ethics'. Please give us a sentence in which you wish to use the phrase and some context.

    I want to say different people from different nationalities; could you please let me know how I can say?

    The word you may be looking for is "ethnicities," but "ethnicity" and "nationality" have different meaning and are not interchangeable.

    "Ethnicity" and "nationality" are not the same.
    Please check the definitions to find out which term you intend.
    Also, "distinct" is probably not the term you are looking for. It does not mean the same as "different".
    Again, please check the definitions.
