Eyeglasses have made perfect vision something most people in the developed world take for granted.

This is also from a students' magazine, and my question is that between perfect vision and something there should be an conjunction or a comma. What do you think? Thanks.

Actually, there's an implied "that" between "something" and "most people."

Eyeglasses have made (the ability to experience) perfect vision something (that) most people in the developed world take for granted.
