Performance hit: a drop in performance. In computers, a performance hit means something has caused the system to run slower.
Podríamos decir "una merma en el desempeño/rendimiento" (yo prefiero "desempeño" para no confundir las cosas con "throughput", pero hay gente a la que le gusta traducir "performance" como "rendimiento").
