Hello, I stumbled upon these 3 sentences and am confused. The word خانه doesn't have a hamza but nevertheless there's one in the ezafe construction. Shouldn't the first one be ...خانه ی بزرگ ?

The convention with the hamzah over the top of a word such as خانه is an old one. At that time it acurately reflected the pronunciation, which was

    xaana(h)-i-buzurg

The pronunciation in Iran has changed and it is now pronounced as "xaane-ye-bozorg. However, you will still find the hamzah written in such cases but the pronunciation, as I have said, has moved on.
