Hey guys,

I've invited a friend of mind to attend a conference, here is his reply:

"I wish I could, but I am persona non-gratis due to my political past..."

Persona non-gratis = troubled guy ??

    Hi Steno1,
    your friend misspellt the expression, which is "persona non grata". It is a Latin phrase used both in English and in Italian.
    See this Wikipedia page for further clarification ;) (qui in italiano).

    It simply means "persona non gradita".
