Continuing the presentation of artworks from the Foundation’s collection at the W Centre in Paris, the X exhibition shows a selection of 68 works of the British art collection at Y, dating from 1956 to 1971. Nonetheless, most of the featured works ?? between 1960 and 1964, corresponding to important years in the acquisition of the collection and that form its historical core presently.

Obrigada desde já

    Thanks, ewie.

I asked the question because I thought that maybe there was a figurative way in English to say "arco temporal". Using your suggestion, I'll have to repeat "date from" in the two sentences.

Ah I see ~ as usual I hadn't read the whole thing. As an alternative you could say:
Most of the featured works belong to the period 1960-64.
