Can anyone help me with the translation of: je suis petillant de bonheur!

Seems like it literally means: I'm sparkling with happiness. But I'm wondering if it has a slightly different idiomatic meaning.

    No it's not an idiom as such, as you wrote it means = sparkling with....
    Pétillant (for personality) = bubbly

    Pétillante de vie/bonheur/voie de vivre, etc.
