Hello!
I have a problem translating:
1. PhD student (studying to get the PhD degree, writes a doctoral thesis or dissertation)
2. a house-warming party (no idea if Brits actually use it, is the way I found it in the dictionary, in Polish we say "fiesta de alféizar" or sth, cos usually in the new flat you only have a windowsill to put your drinks on;)
Thanks a lot for your suggestions!
A big smile

  • Hola, Krecik.

-Housewarming party: Fiesta de inauguración de una casa.
(Es la definición de mi Larousse).

    Espero que te sirva.

    Hi Krecik82:
You hold a house warming party because you want to celebrate that you have a new house. Maybe you just built it, or bought it.
