"les emballages seront des futures pièces archéologiques"

Can anyone provide a good translation of "pièces archéologiques"?

That's what I was thinking too, but I was wondering if it would be translated better with something like "historical artifacts"? I'm not a specialist in archeology, so I don't know the proper term for this in English. Do you think historical artifacts is too loose an interpretation?

To my understanding, historical artifacts would refer to pieces of recent history whereas archaeological artifacts would refer to much older pieces found in the ground... but I may be wrong since I'm not much of a specialist in archeology myself :) !
