Hello! I have a question that I am sure you will be able to answer. Is this sentence grammatically correct?

"At midnight Piccadilly became faintly a menacing, empty canyon."

    Es un ejercicio de Language en el que debo colocar los modificadores en el orden correcto, que me tiene aún bastante confundido.

    At midnight Piccadilly became (empty – canyon – an – menacing – faintly)

    Are you allowed to add a comma? If all words are required to be used, I'd say "At midnight Piccadilly became an empty, faintly menacing canyon."
    At midnight Piccadilly became (empty – canyon – an – menacing – faintly)
