Plaisanciers

Hello,

I have to write a letter to Marinas and Ports managers and in French it is adressed to Plaisanciers, which of course is masculine and feminine.
I know that we often call them Yahtsmen but is there a gender neutral word to use?
Sailor seems too military (but that may just be my perceptions, please correct me if I am wrong).
