Although "sequence shot" is technically correct, I would probably be careful about using it outside of a specialist context, since it's not popularly known. If the text was a film review or editorial for a general readership, I would be inclined to use "long take", possibly with a little embroidery around it. For example: "the director makes much use of long takes covering entire scenes".
NB - a "long shot" is a wide-angle shot.
