Hello,
I'd like to say if I's correct saying "pleased to meet you" when I meet for the first time someone, such as an university teacher, or I have to say "I'm pleased to meet you"
thank you

English since birth, Spanish shortly thereafter
Either way is correct. = )

In spoken English there is a lot of leeway when it comes to taking out certain words.

Just like you don't HAVE to say "I'm fine" when asked how are you?
