I know it's slang for when a pregnant woman delivers a baby, but: Is it understandable both in the U.K. and the U.S.A.?

    I speak BE, and I understand it, but I've never heard it.

    I've only heard it in reference to women who just never seem to stop having babies. It makes it sound very mechanical.

    That Duggar woman's popped out yet another baby​.
