Is it possible to postpone the appointment after/ for two days?

Which preposition does it work in this sentence? Thanks.

Today I have an appointment with someone. But I want to meet with him 2 days later. So I want to postpone after/for 2 days.

If we used "delay" instead of "postpone", did we have to use "for" again? Thanks a lot.
