Dictionary entry: prévaloir

It seems to me that the dictionary is missing one translation of "prévaloir": be (the most) prevalent. That's all. First-ever contribution; I hope I've done this right!

    Hello, Vigby, and welcome :)

Unless I'm wrong, "prévaloir" doesn't mean "be common, widespread", which is the meaning of "be prevalent".
In French, "be prevalent" would be "être très courant, très répandu, très fréquent, très usuel".

If you found a sentence where "prévaloir" seems to mean "be common", feel free to give it, so that we can review it.
