I want to express the idea that I walked until the hospital.

is the right preposition ''up to '' ?

A)I walked up to the hospital.

is the choice of the preposition (up to) correct in that context?

Until cannot be used to indicate space – only time.

I walked until the hospital. :cross:
I carried on walking until I reached the hospital. :tick:

I walked up to the hospital :tick:
= I walked as far as the hospital :tick:
or: I approached the hospital on foot :tick:
