Present perfect corrections

Hello

I'm supposed to correct these sentences, so let me write them for you and my corrections. And of course, I'll love to receive corrections of my corrections.:)

I've been here since one month.
(my correction) I've been here since one month ago.

It is two years that I am in the US.
It is two years that I have been in the US.
or
I have been in the US for two years.

George made some new friends since he came here.
George has made some new friends since he came here.

    (my correction) I've been here since one month ago.
    "Since one month ago" is technically correct, but "for one month" is far more common and usual.

    It is two years that I am in the US.
    It is two years that I have been in the US.
    or
    I have been in the US for two years.
    Both are correct. "It is two years" is British; in American English you would more likely say "It has been two years."

    George made some new friends since he came here.
    George has made some new friends since he came here.
    Correct.
