Hello, my friends,

I was wondering whether the underlined part is idiomatic:

"You should preview a lesson every time you learn it."

Thoughts: I am telling my students to prepare for the lesson before they learn it. The action is like read it first and try to solve the questions they have at first time.

You don't preview a lesson as you are learning it. You should preview it so that you are ready for what you are going to talk about in class.
