La frase es probables responsables del delito

Se podra decir likely culpable parties of the crime
o
probable suspects of the crime
o
likely suspects of the crime

Que opinan?

    • He visto usada "likely suspects of the crime; probable suspects of the crime; probable responsible for the crime. Creo que todas son correctas, aunque lo más habitual es "likely suspects".

    There is a logical problem with the combination of either 'likely' or 'probable' and 'suspects'. Suspects have, by definition, some likelihood or probability of guilt. That is why they are suspects.

    "probables responsables" literally is 'those who are likely/probably responsible for..."

    There may be legal jargon that is conventionally, and erroneously, used for this expression that commits the redundancy of combining 'suspects' and an adjective such as likely or probable, but it would be illogical.

    hmmmmmm. Regardless, the expression "likely suspect" is said in English. I must say that "probable responsible for the crime" sounds odd. I don't like it.
