Hello,

"Problem now is not to go stark screaming hysteric" is from Ezra Pound's letter to Julien Cornell, written from the mental hospital he was confined in.

I guess it means "not to go crazy". Do you agree?

    These are two different things. Maybe Ezra admits he is crazy, but it is not his problem. The problem could be to go screaming through the corridors . . . .

    I know the meaning on dictionary, but was looking forward to the specific/odd usage of the word.
