    Hello, Marimar!
Ah! Memories... the immortal TV soap... the erstwhile singer/actress...
    Sorry, getting sloppy over here...
I propound that one might consider the usage of the phrase, "from the Latin", to avoid any further verbage like mine.
    'Tis just an opinion, though.

es que es para un trabajo y "from the latin" queda un poco cutre,no crees?

Hello, Marimar! (still jazzed about your name, sorry!)
Mi sugerencia era porque en los diccionarios a veces así dice. Supongo que si quieres palabras grandotas se pueden buscar varios sinónimos:
procedente = original, native, from, etc., etc., etc.
    A lo mejor, "Latin, originally"
    ¡Bueno, suerte!
    Dan F :)

You could say "derived from Latin" or "of Latin origin" / "comes from Latin" / "comes from the Latin [word or phrase]..."
