Salve,
nella frase
"After experimenting with metrics based on processor count in 1992",
che significa "count in"?
Non è past participle perché non c'è -ed :(

Grazie

Count here is a noun. The metrics were based on a processor count (I don't know what that means!!!) which took place in 1992.

    Salve,

    Viene da Wiki TOP500 supercomputer.

    Raggruppiamo così:

(After experimenting with metrics) (based on processor count) in 1992"

(After experimenting with measurements) (based on the number of computer processors) in 1992

Dopo gli sperimenti con le misurazioni (della velocità del computer) basato su i numeri dei processori nel anno 1992...
    ?????????????????

Did you mean "After experimenting with metrics based on the processor count in 1992" ?

I'm sorry to disagree, but I think it should be without the 'the'. 'Processor count' is used here to refer to 'processor count' as a measure ('metric') rather than a specific meaurement.

Cf 'heat is measured in terms of temperature' rather than 'the temperature'.
