Hi,

How do they sound differently to you, between the voiced d in deep, and the unvoiced t in steep?

Because t is unaspirated in steep, I can't feel their is a difference between them.

Thanks.

 It is the usual difference between a /t/ and a /d/.

In 'steep' my /t/ is aspirated. Usually, /t/ is not aspirated at the end of words.
