Hello Everyone,

Can you tell me the pronounciation of Dolomite, belite and alite?

(Dolomite : CaMg(CO3)2 ) (belite: Ca2SiO4 ) (alite: Ca3O·SiO4)

And Where can I find the phonetic symbol of such oxides as SiO4 ?

Regards

Sky

A friend who is a chemist told me that the likely pronunciations are as for the names of the letters A and B, with the stress on the first syllable. That is Aylite and Beelite. There could also be Ceelite and Deelite.
This sounds more plausible than allite (short a) or bellite.
