Protest away

"Away" can mean "Go ahead and ____ !" It is a way of granting permission to do something, sometimes in a sarcastic manner.

As an example, "Fire away!" is often said in response to someone who says that they have a complaint or a question. It is a way of saying "feel free to voice your complaint or question."
