Hola colegas
Estoy con unos comandos de programa traduciendo en Passolo y me sale esta palabra varias veces. Por lo que veo en contexto informático debe ser algo así como registrar los cambios que se hacen en un comando, etc. pero no encuentro fuentes claras.
¿Alguien me puede echar una mano?

    PS: aquí algunas fuentes que me hacen pensar que tiene que ver con registrar o definir como válido o algo así (lo que no sé es cómo se denomina en castellano exactamente):

    Ve una explicación del significado de "commit" aquí: Commit (data management) - Wikipedia
    Yo traduciría "commit" como "asentar", pero como estás traduciendo programas, al referirte all comando deberás dejar "commit" en inglés. Debes analizar el contexto de cada ocurrencia para saber si traducir o no.

    Ejemplos:
    "Proporcione los mensajes de título y cuerpo para 'commit'... "
    "Debe estar en estado 'SAFE' para asentar los cambios"

    Otra opción sería dejar todo en inglés:
    "Proporcione los mensajes de título y cuerpo para 'commit'... "
    "Debe estar en estado 'SAFE' para aplicar "commit" a los cambios"
