¿Cómo puedo decir en inglés "Cuál fue el monto de la reserva/provisión por los juicios pendientes registrada en los libros"? Gracias.

    What was the amount of the allowance accounted for/registered/recognised for the pending proceedings in the books/financial statements?

    General ledger lo entiendo como "libros oficiales" en el sentido más literal y legal. Si quieres decir simplemente registrada en los libros "books" es normal. Si lo utilizas en una memoria / cuentas anuales el mejor término es FS.

    Puedes utilizar también "allowance" en lugar de "provision". He visto los dos.

    Estoy de acuerdo con Fernando, pero 'allowance' y 'provision' me suenan un poco británicos. En los EEUU se suele decir 'reserve'. This is especially true for pending proceedings, which may cause a future financial disbursement.
