    I assume this is about proxénète. I'll pass your message to our FR base, but a quick glance at a couple of monolingual dictionaries suggests this is not a standard alternative spelling.

    I share DrD's opinion. Could you provide us the whole sentence? It looks like the end of that word is missing.
