pulled off the quietest of daredevil stunts, crack-up of a movie, given to epic fits of drama-queen

If Michael Cunningham's Pulitzer-winning novel The Hours pulled off the quietest of daredevil stunts, maintaining a precarious composure as it retraced Virginia Woolf's Mrs. Dalloway in time-hopping triplicate, Stephen Daldry's film version erects a shrine to the art of falling apart. Dive-bombing toward Oscar night, it's an extravagant, sobbing, diva-powered crack-up of a movie, given to epic fits of drama-queen theatricality.
Qualcuno conosce le parole in neretto?
Grazie!

    If Michael Cunningham's Pulitzer-winning novel
    The Hours
    pulled off
    accomplished/was able to do
    portato a termine/ha fatto/ha compiuto

    the quietest of daredevil stunts,
a very difficult task in a very quiet way...
tranquilmente ha fatto un azione pericolosa come un scavezzacolo (???)

maintaining a precarious composure as it retraced Virginia Woolf's Mrs. Dalloway
    in time-hopping triplicate,
Stephen Daldry's film version erects a shrine to the art of falling apart.
Dive-bombing toward Oscar night, it's an extravagant, sobbing, diva-powered
    crack-up of a movie,
    un disastro/casino di un film

given to epic fits of drama-queen theatricality.
