Dear forum members,
The metaphor given above is related to pet cattle. Firstly, I would like to know if anyone is familiar with it or it is merely a dialectal phrase understood by very few. From what I have understood the following is what it conveys:
A pet cattle tied to a stump dances with gusto I.e. a pet cattle despite being held feels sheltered and thus makes more noise (demands) than onein the wild.
Based on this context I have heard it being used occasionally with regards to spoilt brats. If anyone would like to correct me or purvey their own interpretations'/experiences' please come ahead.
